2022–23 EFL League One

The 2022–23 EFL League One (referred to as the Sky Bet League One for sponsorship reasons) is the 19th season of the Football League One under its current title and the 31st season under its current league division format.

Team changes

The 2022-23 edition of League One will consist of 17 teams returning from League One the preceding season, 3 teams relegated from the preceding season's Championship and 4 teams promoted from the preceding season's League Two. As of 30 April 2022, 19 teams are known: 14 of the 17 returners have mathematically secured their places in League One for this season[1] while all three relegations and two of the four promotions are set.
