2000 Pasay recall election
Recall election were held at Pasay City on April 15, 2000. The voters elected one mayor (concern for recall).

Candidates
Mayor Jovito Claudio faced his recent competitors against petitioned order for a recall election.
He was challenged by former Vice Mayor Wenceslao Trinidad, Ricardo "Ding" Santos, a former security aide to former mayor Pablo Cuneta, and independent candidate Romulo "Rome" Marcelo.
Results
On April 17, 2000, Trinidad garnered 38,550 votes, Santos was second with 35,442 votes, while Mayor Claudio, who was the subject of the recall, was third with 13,840 votes and Romulo Marcelo had 204 votes.[1]
