1975 SMU Mustangs football team

The 1975 SMU Mustangs football team represented Southern Methodist University (SMU) as a member of the Southwest Conference (SWC) during the 1975 NCAA Division I football season.[1] Led by Dave Smith in his third and final year as head coach, the Mustangs compiled an overall record of 4–7 with a mark of 2–5 in conference play, tying for fifth place in the SWC.
