1954 Illinois State Normal Redbirds football team

The 1954 Illinois State Normal Redbirds football team represented Illinois State Normal University (now known as Illinois State University) as a member of the Interstate Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in the 1954 college football season. They were led by tenth-year head coach Edwin Struck and played their home games at McCormick Field in Normal, Illinois. The Redbirds finished the season with a 5–3–1 record overall and a 3–2–1 record in conference play.[1]
