1946 Denver Pioneers football team

The 1946 Denver Pioneers football team was an American football team that represented the University of Denver in the Mountain States Conference (MSC) during the 1946 college football season. In its sixth season under head coach Cac Hubbard, the Pioneers compiled a 5–5–1 record (4–1–1 against MSC opponents) and won the conference championship. They were outscored 182 to 179, and shut out by Hardin–Simmons in the delayed Alamo Bowl in San Antonio.[1]
