1930 Pacific Tigers football team

The 1930 Pacific Tigers football team represented the College of the Pacific (COP)[note 1] during the 1930 college football season.

COP competed in the Far Western Conference (FWC).[note 2] The team was led by tenth-year head coach Erwin Righter, and played home games at Baxter Stadium in Stockton, California. The team finished with three wins and six losses (3–6, 2–2 FWC). Overall, the Tigers were outscored by their opponents 101–104 for the season.

  2. The Northern California Athletic Conference (NCAC) was known as the Far Western Conference (FWC) from its founding in 1925 to 1982.
  3. This stadium is the predecessor to the current Mackay Stadium, which was opened for the 1966 season.[2]
  4. The Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) in San Diego fielded a team that played against colleges and other military teams from 1922 to 1964.
