20th Century Girl

20th Century Girl (Korean: 20세기 소녀; RR: 20segi Sonyeo) is an upcoming South Korean streaming television film directed and written by Bang Woo-ri in her feature directorial debut, starring Kim Yoo-jung, Byeon Woo-seok, Park Jung-woo and Roh Yoon-seo. The film depicts the friendship and freshness of first love based in the backdrop of 1999.[1] It is slated to release in 2022 on Netflix.[2]

Synopsis

In 1999 – the last year of the 20th century, 17-year-old Na Bo-ra (Kim Yoo-jung) finds her first love: a sweet, pure but heartbreaking relationship. Years later in the 21st century, news about her first love revives her teenage romance that she once thought had forgotten.[3]
