2024 Copa América
The 2024 Copa América will be the 48th edition of the Copa América, the quadrennial international men's football championship organized by South America's football ruling body CONMEBOL.[1]

Host country
The 2024 Copa América is expected to be hosted by Ecuador due to CONMEBOL's host rotation order.[3] However, CONMEBOL president Alejandro Dominguez said that Ecuador had been nominated but not yet chosen to organize the cup. Peru has also expressed its intention to organize the tournament.[1] The 2024 Copa América was originally scheduled for 2023, but was moved to 2024 in order to coincide with UEFA Euro 2024. Rumors said that the United States has made a bid on hosting the competition similar to 2016 Copa America.

All ten CONMEBOL national teams are eligible to enter:
It is expected that a 12-team or 16-team tournament will be held, with two or six teams from outside CONMEBOL being invited.
Venues
Ecuador had by 2012 already started studies to modernize stadiums for the tournament.[4][5][6]
