2022 Toronto Argonauts season

The 2022 Toronto Argonauts season is scheduled to be the 64th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 149th year of existence. The Argonauts will attempt to return to the playoffs for a second consecutive season and win their league-leading 18th Grey Cup championship.

The 2022 CFL season is scheduled to be the second season for head coach Ryan Dinwiddie and the third season for Michael Clemons as general manager.[1][2]

The 2022 CFL Global Draft is scheduled to take place on May 3, 2022.[3] With the format being a snake draft, the Argonauts will select fourth in the odd-numbered rounds and sixth in the even-numbered rounds.[4]

The 2022 CFL Draft is scheduled to take place on May 3, 2022.[5] The Argonauts are scheduled to have the sixth selection in each of the eight rounds of the draft after losing the East Final and finishing third in the 2021 league standings.[6] The team also acquired another second-round pick after trading Nick Arbuckle to the Edmonton Elks.[7]

Schedule

The Argonauts will be the home team for a neutral site game for the Week 6 match-up with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.[10] It was confirmed on March 24, 2022, that the game would be played in Wolfville, Nova Scotia at Raymond Field as part of the Touchdown Atlantic series.[11]
