2022–23 Indian Super League season
The 2022–23 Indian Super League season will be the 9th season of the Indian Super League since its formation in 2014 and the 27th season of the top division of Indian football league system. This is the first season of ISL being the only top tier league of India.

Changes from last season
- Six instead of four clubs will compete for the playoffs. The top two clubs qualify directly for the playoffs while the next four sides will play single legged match to decide the remaining two teams for the semifinals. Third ranked team will play against sixth ranked team, similarly the fourth ranked team will play against fifth ranked team, with the higher ranked sides hosting the match.[1]
- Winter break will be provided in the month of November and December, in accordance with 2022 FIFA World Cup.
- Traditional home-away format has returned.
