2021 Capital Cup

The 2021 Capital Cup was the inaugural edition of the tournament, a midseason friendly soccer tournament hosted by D.C. United. The original tournament was to feature four teams from CONCACAF, but due to COVID-19, two teams, Puebla of Mexico and Alianza of El Salvador, had to withdraw from the tournament.[1] The tournament was originally slated to be from July 7–14, 2021 but was truncated to July 7–11, 2021.[2]
