2021–22 in Scottish football
The 2021–22 season is the 125th season of competitive football in Scotland. The domestic season began on the weekend of 10 July 2021 with the first Scottish League Cup group stage matches. Most regional leagues began on the weekend of 17 July and the opening round of matches in the 2021–22 Scottish Professional Football League were played on 31 July.[1]

Notes:
- Teams play each other three times (33 matches), before the league is split into two groups (the top six and the bottom six).
- Due to the suspension of Russian teams from UEFA club competitions, the Scottish Premiership winners will qualify for the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League group stage.
- Due to the suspension of Russian teams from UEFA club competitions, the Scottish Premiership runners-up will enter the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.
- As the winners of the 2021–22 Scottish Cup will qualify for European competition based on league position, the spare Europa Conference League berth will be transferred to the fifth-placed team.
