2021–22 Iraqi Premier League
The 2021–22 Iraqi Premier League is the 48th season of the Iraqi Premier League, the highest tier football league in Iraq, since its establishment in 1974. The season started on 20 September 2021 and will end in 2022.[1]

Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the defending champions after winning their seventh title last season.[2] Al-Sinaa, Newroz and Samarra join as the three promoted clubs from the 2020–21 Iraq Division One.[3] They replace Al-Hudood, Al-Samawa and Al-Sinaat Al-Kahrabaiya who were relegated to the 2021–22 Iraq Division One.
