2021–22 Ghana Premier League

The 2021–22 Ghana Premier League is the 66th season of the top professional association football league in Ghana.[1] The season started on 29 October 2021 and is scheduled to end on 19 June 2022.[2]

Hearts of Oak are the defending champions.[3]

Teams

Eighteen teams will compete in the league; the 15 from the previous season and the 3 winners of the Division One zones. The promoted teams are Bibiani Gold Stars and Accra Lions who both achieved promotion for the first time.[4] RTU returned to the league for the first time since their relegation in 2013.[5] They replaced Ebusua Dwarfs, Liberty Professionals and Inter Allies.[6]
