2020–21 Liga IV Ialomița

The 2020–21 Liga IV Ialomița was the 53rd season of the Liga IV Ialomița, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. Originally scheduled to start in August 2020, the season was postponed due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.[1]

On 7 April 2021, the Romanian Football Federation decided to allow the County Football Associations to organize a short tournament and until 8 May, they must communicate the teams qualified for the promotion play-off to Liga III.[2]

The tournament organized by AJF Ialomița started on 17 April and should concluded on 8 May 2021.[3] Fetești win the title and qualify to promotion play-off in Liga III.[4]

Teams

Five clubs responded positively that they can participate at the county champion designation tournament and observe the new medical protocol.

Competition format

The competition will be played in a double round-robin tournament, eight matches for each team, and the winner will be declared the county champion and the representative of Ialomița County at the promotion play-off to Liga III.[5]
