Club

Kits

The club's traditional red and black stripes were provided by Hummel this season. On 25 May 2018, the club announced a special edition jersey for the remarkable FAI Cup run. The mainly white shirt featured a red and black diagonal stripe, which had the name of every supporter, who bought the jersey woven into the fabric.

Rules for classification: 1) Points; 2) Goal difference; 3) Goals scored.[1]
Notes:
  1. Since the winners of the 2018 FAI Cup, Dundalk, qualified for European competition based on their league position, the spot awarded to the Cup winner (Europa League first qualifying round) would normally pass to the next best-placed team (the fourth-placed team). However, as Waterford were adjudged by UEFA to have not passed the "three-year rule" as they were reformed in 2016, the spot was passed to the fifth-placed team.

B-The Bohemians-East Fife match was originally due to take place on 17 November 2018 but was rearranged as the Irish football season had finished. It was rearranged to be played on 2 February 2019 but was called off due to a frozen pitch before kick-off.[5] Following discussions with the SPFL in an attempt to rearrange the fixture again, Bohemians withdrew from the competition and East Fife advanced to the semi-finals.[6]
