Virginia Ruano Pascual and Paola Suárez were the defending champions, but lost in the semifinals to Cara Black and Rennae Stubbs. Nadia Petrova and Meghann Shaughnessy won the title, defeating Cara Black and Rennae Stubbs in the final, 7–5, 6–2.[1]
