1991 Hemsworth by-election
The 1991 Hemsworth by-election was a parliamentary by-election held in England on 7 November 1991 for the House of Commons constituency of Hemsworth in West Yorkshire. The seat had become vacant on the death of the Labour Member of Parliament George Buckley (British politician), who had held the seat since the 1987 general election.
The Labour candidate, Derek Enright, held the seat for his party.
