1981 Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship

The 1981 Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 72nd staging of the Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1909. The championship began on 29 May 1981 and ended on 30 August 1981.

On 30 August 1981, Newtownshandrum won the championship following a 3-12 to 1-10 defeat of Cloughduv in the final at Bishop Casey Memorial Park.[1] This was their third championship title overall and their first title since 1976.

Cloughduv's Connie Kelly was the championship's top scorer.
